The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful universal laws that suggest that you are responsible for all elements and outcomes within your life based on your thoughts, feelings and actions. This theory relies on the assumption that everything in the universe is made up of Energy and that like attracts like. Wouldn’t it be amazing to have such infinite possibilities for your life and the ability to influence how you live your life by merely changing your thoughts?

If we go one step further, within the assumption that everything in the universe is Energy, and that Energy is in constant motion (or vibrating), then we can classify our emotions as vibrating energies as well.

“Like attracts like. If you are feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, appreciative, or abundant, then you are sending out positive energy.

On the other hand, if you are feeling bored, anxious, stressed out, angry, resentful, or sad, you are sending out negative energy.

The universe, through the Law of Attraction, will respond enthusiastically to both of these vibrations. It doesn’t decide which one is better for you, it just responds to whatever energy you are creating, and it gives you more of the same. You get back exactly what you put out there.”

How do you raise your vibrations? If it’s true that the higher the frequency of energy that you are emitting, then you will in turn attract these same higher levels of vibrations that will manifest into positive outcomes in your life. These can be anything from love, relationships, good health, money and much more. Now sometimes it’s not so easy to get out of a slump and your circumstances seem to generate these lower and more negative emotions. But we tend to forget – we always have a choice. If there's something that is negative in your life at the moment, it may be that consciously, or more likely subconsciously, you have been emitting negative thoughts and feelings and in turn, the universe has returned these to you as negative events and outcomes. But what if it were possible to change this? Wouldn’t you want to take the chance to test whether this theory could in fact be true?

Let’s say that your job is causing you a great deal of stress, or maybe your family doesn’t approve of your relationship, or perhaps you’ve suffered a loss of a loved one. The natural thing that most people do is feel anger, resentment, anxiety and even grief. None of these emotions will enable you to ‘feel better’ or even improve your life situation. In actual fact, they will make you feel worse, and sooner or later, will manifest into physical illnesses on top of your emotional turmoil. Perhaps you need to change something in your life to help you to move on from a circumstance, but perhaps this may be impossible in the short run. This is when you must see things differently, and from a different perspective.

People tend to have very limited awareness of their own actions and how this may affect the actions of others. I’m not saying that everything in your life is your fault, per se, however, sometimes we see things so much from our own world, that it’s at the expense of understanding the other person’s world. But rather than try to convince you of this, let’s look at different ways that we can all raise our vibrations, and therefore raise our ability to attract positive outcomes into our lives.

However, I do believe that there is a very important role that negative emotions play in our lives. We need to feel them, as much as we need to feel positive emotions. This doesn't mean that suffering needs to be unbearable and long-lasting. But it is important to understand and experience each and every emotion on the spectrum. This will enable us to have a deeper appreciation of the higher emotions as the corresponding negative ones will help to amplify feelings like love, joy and compassion. Although it's possible for anyone to experience happiness in life, the people who have struggled and endured pain are likely to have a heightened and more heart-felt appreciation for something they have lacked in the past, or longed for.

There are so many theories, books and teachings that point back to various elements within this very blog. It doesn't matter where it comes from, the message is clear and consistent that we all need to remain positive, be kind, have awareness over our thoughts and actions and so forth. Some of these sources are communicated via motivational speakers, religious leaders, life coaches...you name it. We will all seek the sources that resonate with our own values and beliefs. But again, the commonality of the direction in which these all point towards is the same. It's about time that we stop the belief that our methods are superior to others, as this only separates the wholeness that we are. Instead, we need to focus on what we all have in common - after all, my belief is that we are all just trying to raise our vibrations, whether we know it or not.
